The QA Media Group is pleased to announce and welcome two new members to our Advisory Board. Both are industry-leading experts in their fields who were previously featured in a QA plant profile and, since that time, have lent their expertise to the QA editorial staff in a number of areas.
Our new members are:
Roger Lawrence is the corporate vice president, quality assurance and regulatory for McCormick & Co. in Sparks, Md. The international spice company was profiled in QA’s May/June issue and is a global leader in flavor, with the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of spices, seasonings, specialty foods and flavorings to the food industry, including retail outlets, food manufacturers and food service businesses.
Temple Grandin is well-known across the meat industry as an incomparable expert in animal handling and facility design. The “Labeled Autistic” author and professor of animal science at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo., also became a national figure this year with HBO’s Emmy-winning movie on her life.
